Almost in New York!

Dear friends!

It seems to be a lie but we are only at a four hours drive to the Big Apple! In Manassas, we’re already feeling the wind of the Atlantic and we almost can see the top of the Empire State Building! Arrive here cost us the longest drive  of the trip, since we had to drive 600 milles in one day and a half from Nashville.

 
We adored Nashville. Not only the city of music is a very important cultural pole, with hundreds of bars and concerts places dedicated to music country, but the friends who received to us are an enchantment of people. 

  

 
Nashville is a well done balance between the great metropolis of Texas, as anonymous as industrial product like microwaves and the Mexican cities, with its old buildings and their pieces of art in each corner. Until we saw people walking by the streets, imagine!

With Kim and P.J. we spent wonderful moments. Their home is one of these places in which you inmediately fell nice and our friends made everything they could to make us fell like in our own house. Each meal was a great moment, between Kim’s delicious plates and great conversations. You can read some words about our new friends in the thanks page.

One more time, it was very hard to take the road. We felt very sad when we saw the house of friends getting far in the street. The only thing that was motivating us to drive was thinking about the buildings of Manhattan that are waiting for us. Before we go, we’ll have to say goodbye to Charly, the very nice and very fun man who is getting us at home for the moment.
